An API, or Application Programming Interface, is a term that has become increasingly common in the tech world over the past few years. Although most tax professionals have heard of APIs, many still don’t know what they are or how they can improve their digital tax strategy.
In essence, an API is a set of rules that enable different systems to communicate with each other. It acts as a middleman between two software programs, allowing them to share data and work together seamlessly.
