The Internal Revenue Service (SRI) enabled the new version of the Value Added Tax (VAT) form, which allows declaring and paying VAT on sales made on credit, within a period of up to 3 months.
In this way, the transfers of goods or provision of services carried out by micro, small and medium-sized companies (according to the definition of the Organic Code of Production, Commerce and Investments -COPCI), in which a term of more than one month has been granted for payment, they must be declared in the following month and paid within 3 months.
The new version of this form is available at SRI online at www.sri.gob.ec, Declarations section.
In order to facilitate compliance with this obligation, the SRI published on its website the guide for the declaration and payment of this tax, which taxpayers can access at https://www.sri.gob.ec/web/ guest/forms-and-instructions
