An analysis by the Spanish consumer organization Facua shows that almost one in five foods, whose VAT was reduced in January, have been raised in price by supermarkets again in the first months of 2023. In some cases, the products are even more expensive than before the VAT reduction. This is reported by the Spanish radio station Cadena SER.
