As of March 1, 2023, the number of active taxpayers in the country increased by 1 percent to 719,000 compared to the beginning of the year. The number of active VAT payers increased by 2.9 percent and amounted to 41,100. The number of active objects (business subjects) increased by 0.6 percent compared to last year and reached 190.4 thousand.
