- What is PEPPOL and OpenPEPPOL?
Pan-European Public Procurement Online (PEPPOL), which is based on a four-corner model, provides an electronic delivery network to facilitate e-procurement and e-business solutions that are interoperable between different systems across Europe, and now also outside Europe. OpenPEPPOL is mainly responsible for the maintenance and development of PEPPOL specifications and facilitating the growth of the network. There are 42 member countries in OpenPEPPOL (32 in Europe, plus China, Canada, Australia, Singapore, the US, New Zealand, Mexico, Malaysia, Japan, and India).
