In an ATLAS message from the German customs authorities, businesses are informed of a new mandatory field in the ATLAS export declaration AES 3.0.
According to the message, with the changeover to AES 3.0, the data element “Country of origin” D.E. No. 16 08 000 000, according to Annex B UZK-DA, must be declared in Germany in addition to the indication of the region of dispatch. If the country of origin is a country other than Germany, the code “99” for “foreign country” must be entered as the region of dispatch.
