A serial fraudster has been jailed for claiming more than £100,000 in VAT through false invoices. The suspect submitted eight false VAT Returns in order to reclaim money, between September 2018 and May 2020. These VAT Returns included false invoices which were reporting to evidence purchases which were fictitious.
The suspect was sentenced to two years and four months behind bars for two offences.
