According to entrepreneurs, the existing regulations hit the catering industry and the consumer. The VAT rate varies and depends on the degree of processing of the product, for example, when adding seafood to pizza, the consumer pays more.
Simplifying VAT regulations would allow, among other things, to reduce prices in premises – said the secretary general of the Chamber of Commerce of Polish Gastronomy, Sławomir Grzyb.
