At the end of 2022, ZATCA published information about its intention to extend mandatory e-invoicing to further taxpayers. The second stage of phase two (the integration phase), as ZATCA indicated, would cover those taxpayers whose revenues taxable to VAT exceed half a bilion Saudi riyal during 2021. The new regulations will apply from July 1, 2023.
