The Belgian parliament is considering a draft bill amending the VAT Code, including several measures meant to modernize the processing of periodic VAT declarations and payments and make this processing more efficient for both taxpayers and the tax administration. As drafted, the amendments are to take effect on 1 January 2024, although this may be deferred to 1 January 2025, at the latest….
