The Colorado Department of Revenue announced that it is convening a workgroup meeting on February 28 to discuss promulgation of a new sales tax rule to implement legislation enacted last year, which imposes new penalties on some sales and use tax refund claims that are incomplete, duplicative of another claim, or lack a reasonable basis in law or fact.
