On 2 December 2022, the Council of Ministers approved a preliminary draft law that will apply from 2024 important VAT changes. The aim is to optimize and improve the VAT chain digitize. For example, the administration will submit a proposal for a ‘replacement’ VAT return, with be able to send an amount of VAT due to a taxable person when they are reporting obligation is not complied with.
