The Azerbaijani Ministry of Taxes Jan. 16 announced the next-day deadline extension for the payment of VAT on transactions. The announcement also clarified that taxpayers won’t be subject to sanctions for non-payment of the VAT amount on the day of payment of the principal amount and can pay the same within one working day after the main amount has been paid.
