The reporting obligation for cross-border arrangements (DAC6) has been in effect for almost two years now and several thousand reports have been made in the Netherlands alone. The Netherlands is said to be the leader in the EU in the number of reports, which of course does not help to get rid of our image that we are still disproportionately involved in ‘aggressive tax constructions’.
