In August 2022, Poland’s Ministry of Finance had put forward a proposal to amend the Polish VAT law, called the “SLIM VAT 3 package,” which aimed to simplify and clarify the rules for VAT settlements in Poland. Following a public consultation phase, a revised draft bill was published on 8 November 2022.
