The Azerbaijani President Dec. 30, 2022, signed a decree approving amendments to the tax code. The amendments include measures:
- 1) approving the lists of VAT-exempt imported raw materials, basic assets, machinery, and technological equipment and installations; and
- 2) allowing VAT refunds for goods and services provided by residents for retail trade, public catering, and medical activities.
