The introduction of the new Value Added Tax (VAT) digitalisation regime in the European Union (EU) is set to drastically alter the landscape of the VAT consultancy industry. With the new system, businesses will be required to submit and manage their VAT declarations electronically, and to provide real-time data to their tax authorities. This will require VAT consultancy companies to adapt and evolve to ensure their continued success.
