On 15 December 2022, the Belgian Chamber of Representatives approved the law for implementing into domestic legislation the EU Directive imposing reporting and exchange of information obligations in relation to the activities of certain digital platform operators located both inside and outside the European Union (DAC7). The law implementing the EU DAC7 directive obliges digital platforms to collect, verify, and report information on sellers who use their platform to sell defined goods or provide services (e.g., rentals of immovable property).
