The reduced VAT on demolition and reconstruction will not be increased again after 2023. This is emphasized by the cabinet of Finance Minister Vincent Van Peteghem (CD&V). The rate has been reduced to 6 percent for some time and there is “no question” of an increase, it says. Flemish Minister of Energy Zuhal Demir (N-VA) had charged yesterday that the rate would increase again after 2023. She was talking about a completely wrong signal.
