The Estonian Parliament (Riigikogu) Dec. 12 accepted for consideration Bill No. 757 SE, to reduce the VAT rate to 5 percent on: 1) paper and electronic press publications, except those mainly containing advertising or private advertising, erotic or pornographic content, or video or music content; and 2) specific medicines that are used in the treatment of cancer and other malignant tumors but that aren’t included in the list of medicines of the Estonian Health Insurance Fund.
