The cabinet intends to introduce a VAT zero rate for fruit and vegetables. The zero rate can only be introduced from 1 January 2024 for legal and implementation reasons. This is what State Secretary Van Rij of Finance writes in response to a motion adopted by the Senate ( UN 2022/49.12 ).
