Italy’s Council of Ministers has issued a release announcing its approval of the State Budget for 2023 and the multi-year budget for 2023 to 2025 during its meeting held on 21 November 2022. Some of the main tax-related measures noted in the release include:
- Reducing the VAT rate from 10% to 5% for baby products and feminine hygiene products;
- Further suspending the plastic tax and sugar tax in 2023.
