Long-awaited European Union initiatives on value-added tax and the exchange of crypto-asset information have been postponed from mid-November until at least December, an updated European Commission planning document shows.
The commission’s top officials, the college of commissioners, now aim to sign off and issue the proposals Dec. 7, instead of on Nov. 16 as previously planned, the document said. The document, an update to items scheduled for forthcoming college meetings, was issued Tuesday.
