The Russian parliament is considering draft Bill No. 237553-8, which was submitted on 17 November 202 and provides for a reduction in the VAT rate on certain socially important goods. This includes a reduction in the rate from 10% to 5% on food products, goods for children, books and periodicals, and several foreign and domestically produced medical supplies.
