A draft law amended by the Tax Code, which proposes to reduce the VAT rate for certain categories of goods, has been submitted to the State Duma for consideration.
- food products (milk, meat, fish, eggs, butter, sugar, salt, flour, cereals, pasta, fruits and vegetables, baby and diabetic food);
- goods for children (knitwear and garments, shoes, toys, strollers, diapers, beds and mattresses, stationery);
- periodicals and book products;
- medical goods of domestic and foreign production (drugs and medical devices).
