Uzbekistan will introduce a tax-free system from January 2023, exempting foreign citizens from value-added tax (VAT), the Uzbek government announced on Thursday.
Based on its results, from 2024, the refund system will be gradually introduced at all international airports and railway stations, as well as border checkpoints of the Central Asian nation, according to a government resolution.
