It is now well known that closing the “VAT gap” is very high on the EU agenda and is considered an absolute priority by policymakers. A number of initiatives should contribute to achieving this intended goal. In our view, these far-reaching reforms are not always known to the wider public. In this post, we look at some of these reforms.
