As the result of new regulations as of 1 January 2023 (DAC7), platforms are required to verify and report certain information of sellers active on their platform. This information will be automatically exchanged between tax authorities in the EU which allows those tax authorities to control the payment of tax on activities within the sharing economy by individuals and entities active on the platform.
