The Board of Directors (Board) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) issued a decision (Decision) to allow all qualified real estate developers (Developers) to obtain a refund of Input Value Added Tax (Input VAT) paid before 4 October 2020 (the date from when real estate supplies became exempt from VAT in KSA).
