The EU Commission’s “ 2” initiative amends the rules on customs formalities to make the #declaration of goods easier and faster. It also supports implementation of the EU’s new pre-arrival security and safety programme for effective risk-based customs controls whilst facilitating the free flow of legitimate trade across the EU’s external borders (Import Control System ICS2).
