Azerbaijan is reportedly planning to amend the Tax Code to extend the VAT exemption on the import and sale of hybrid vehicles. As previously reported, a VAT exemption was introduced on the import and sale of electric and hybrid vehicles in Azerbaijan for a period of three years beginning 1 January 2022, subject to the condition that the vehicle is less than 3 years old, and its engine displacement is less than 2.5 liters.
