From January 2023, the financial administration will see who rents an apartment or cottage through Booking and other internet platforms providing accommodation. Now is the high time to register for tax payment
Real estate renters through the Booking or Airbnb platforms, as well as people driving for Uber or Bolt, will not hide from the financial administration from January 1, 2023 . As of the new year, the amendment to Act No. 422/2021, according to which digital platforms must automatically provide information about their clients to the Slovak financial administration . A directive is hereby put into practice in Slovakia, which introduces this obligation throughout the territory of the European Union.
