As of 1 October 2022, the grace period for imposing penalties for non-compliance with regulations related to e-transport in Romania ends.
The grace period applies to situations of failing to implement high-risk goods movement reporting at all, and situations where this reporting takes place but does not meet the requirements prescribed by law.
The Romanian government has set fines between EUR 1,000 and EUR 20,000.
