The State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan recently issued a release on the growing number of VAT payers, noting, among other things, that the VAT rate will be reduced from 15% to 12% from 1 January 2023. The reduction in the VAT rate was first announced by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the International Congress Center in August 2022.
