In these hours, the government is studying new measures aimed at tackling the cost of energy, to protect families and businesses. To date, in order to contain the effects of increases in natural gas prices, specific measures have been introduced represented by the reduction of VAT and tax credits in favor of companies with a high consumption of natural gas for energy use (gas-intensive companies) and companies other than gas-intensive ones. In the meantime, the Revenue Agency has provided the main clarifications regarding tax credits and VAT for the energy problem represented by gas.
