This guide is prepared to help registered and non-registered importers navigate through the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) e-Services portal and successfully declare excisable goods. It is designed to help you to:
• understand the process for declaring goods at Customs;
• create an e-Services account with the FTA to access the declaration forms if you are not registered with the FTA for Excise Tax;
• navigate to the Excise Tax declaration forms to declare excisable goods;
• provide accurate answers to the questions on the Import Declaration forms by explaining what information you are required to provide;
• provide Customs with the appropriate proof to validate the imports declaration and the Excise Tax due; and
• understand the icons and symbols included in the forms.
