At its meeting on August 24, 2022, the Federal Council adopted the dispatch on the complete revision of the Customs Act (LD) and the creation of a new framework law. The amendment to the legal bases aims to harmonize the performance of the tasks of the Federal Office for Customs and Border Security (OFDF) as well as to increase the efficiency of border processes through a complete digitization of these last.
