HMRC has shared an ‘Agent Briefing Note’ in respect of the new online VAT registration service, as some users are having difficulties with the new system.
The CIOT and ATT made a joint submission to HMRC on 9 August collating all of the member feedback received so far on initial problems experienced. That submission has been acknowledged and HMRC will be issuing a further update to us addressing the concerns soon.
