Siemens decided to change its global ERP landscape from SAP R/3 to SAP S4 in the following years, harmonizing business processes and following the SAP standard. The global tax department is using this fundamental change to implement a tax engine to be more flexible, having less maintenance effort and secure its high compliance standards. In this session, we discuss approaching the change and what opportunities and challenges lie in this journey.
