Starting next year, taxpayers in Egypt will be obliged to clear e-invoices with the tax authority in real time.
On 21 May 2022, the Egyptian Tax Authority (ETA) announced that beginning January 2023, it will be mandatory to send invoices in real time (within the same day of invoice issuance) to the mandatory infrastructure for clearance.
