The new system of VAT settlements on e-commerce in the European Union brought the planned revenues to the Polish budget. However, the Ministry of Finance admits that there are still problems with small shipments from outside the EU, which is also covered by the new system. The regulations on exempting shipments worth up to 150 euros are still abused, and some VAT revenues are escaped from the treasury.
