The campaign aims to verify, through door-to-door inspection, compliance with Article 27 of the VAT Code (relating to the obligation to issue invoices or equivalent documents for each transmission of goods or provision of services) and to alert economic agents about the need for invoicing as an essential basis for the settlement of VATobligations, a statement from the AT explains.
