The simplified system of VAT settlements for e-commerce, which has been operating for a year now, works efficiently, assures the Ministry of Finance. Experts indicate that a reliable assessment will be possible only in a few years, when it will be possible to compare data from a longer period of operation. However, a reform of these provisions is needed in the part concerning shipments from outside the European Union.
