The Arnhem-Leeuwarden Court of Appeal recently ruled on a discussion that often occurs in practice: the VAT treatment of management services performed by a partnership of medical specialists (hereinafter: MSB) for a hospital. The court ruled that the management services concerned are exempt from the levy of VAT as they form part of the specialist medical services provided by the partnership.
