Cabo Verde’s state revenues rose 29.7% in April, compared to the same period in 2021, which was then affected by the crisis caused by the pandemic, to 14.9 billion escudos (€136.5 million), according to official data.
In indirect taxes, Value Added Tax (VAT) continues to recover from the falls caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and the drop in tourism, having earned in four months more than 5.3 billion escudos (€47.9 million), increasing 37% compared to the same period of 2021.
