On 24 May 2022, Portugal’s Secretary of State for Tax Affairs published Order No. 49/2022-XXIII (available in the Portuguese language only), which further extends the period during which invoices in PDF format are to be accepted as electronic invoices (even if they are not in compliance with the electronic invoicing rules) until 31 December 2022 (extended from 30 June 2022).
