Polish budget received 92 million PLN from new VAT E-commerce rules

In the second half of 2021, the Polish budget received over PLN 92 million from VAT on low-value non-EU shipments collected under the IOSS procedure. For comparison, in the same period the revenues to the budgets of all 27 EU countries amounted to EUR 2 billion In the first quarter of 2022, thanks to the IOSS procedure, the Polish tax authorities collected PLN 75 million in VAT. Comparable data from across the EU has yet to be published. Statistics on Poland were provided  by Deputy Minister of Finance Anna Chatupa, responding on June 13 this year. to the parliamentary question no. 5136.
