ZATCA announces that the first wave of selected taxpayers will start using the e-Invoicing project’s Phase Two (Integration Phase) on January 1, 2023. It should be noted that the taxpayers in the first wave were chosen based on their revenue subject to VAT for the year 2021 exceeding 3 billion SAR. Phase Two of the electronic invoicing project contains additional requirements. The three most important ones are to issue electronic invoices according to a particular format, including new fields in the invoice, and interface taxpayers’ e-Invoicing solutions with ZATCA’s Platform (FATOORA).
