Poland’s Ministry of Finance has issued a release announcing that mandatory electronic invoicing (e-invoicing) will be introduced from 2024. This follows the approval on 17 June 2022 of a Council Implementing Decision authorizing Poland to introduce mandatory e-invoicing for all transactions carried out by taxable persons that require the issuance of an invoice. The authorization is initially effective from 1 January 2024 until 31 December 2026.
