State Secretary Van Rij of Finance – Fiscality and Tax Authorities, has also answered parliamentary questions on behalf of the Minister for Housing and Spatial Planning about the VAT rate on solar panels
An internet consultation was concluded on 20 May 2022 on the proposal to abolish VAT on solar panels from 1 January 2023. Implementation of this proposal will depend, among other things, on and subject to budgetary feasibility, the results of the internet consultation and the implementation test. The Tax and Customs Administration has already started an implementation test, but that process has not yet been completed. The State Secretary for Finance – Fiscality and the Tax and Customs Administration answers this to parliamentary questions.
